A young family were looking to give a much-needed luxury interior design renovation to their recently purchased vacation property in Ibiza.
Challenge
The villa's pre-existing interior felt compartmentalised, with narrow circulation spaces, an inefficient layout and limited connection between its living areas. While the rooftop terrace enjoyed panoramic Mediterranean views, neighbouring properties compromised privacy. Studio Moravová's challenge was to rethink the home's interior architecture, creating a more generous spatial flow, improving privacy and transforming the property into a refined family retreat that celebrates the Ibiza lifestyle.
Solution
As a boutique interior + architecture firm, Studio Moravová reconfigured the villa's interior architecture to improve circulation, maximise spatial efficiency and strengthen the relationship between indoor and outdoor living. Existing bedrooms were consolidated into three generous suites, while the first floor was reimagined as an open, social living environment centred around the villa's internal courtyard, allowing natural light to permeate all three levels.
The luxury interior design proposal balances the property's contemporary architecture with the warmth of Mediterranean living. Bespoke oak joinery, Brescia stone, bronze detailing and ribbed glass introduce a refined material palette that complements the villa's clean architectural volumes. Outdoors, carefully positioned planting creates privacy across terraces while softening the surrounding built environment, allowing uninterrupted enjoyment of the panoramic sea views. The final result is a contemporary family home that embraces the relaxed rhythm of Ibiza while responding intelligently to the practical needs of everyday living.
