After purchasing a carefully renovated Ibiza finca, the new owners were looking to infuse the property with a more personal, lived-in touch. Despite the exceptional quality of the finishes selected by the previous architect, the interior architecture felt cold and somber, leaving the clients with a home that never truly felt like their own.
Challenge
The clients were looking for a more bespoke approach to their project that only a boutique interior + architecture firm could bring to the space. The brief was centered around the need for more vibrancy, tactility, and social living - and to create an unmistakable connection to the sea and local Balearic landscape.
Solution
Studio Moravová focused on sourcing unique pieces with meaningful stories, aiming to give each space a lived-in feel, giving each space a lived-in quality while maintaining the refinement expected of a luxury interior design project. A tactile balance of artisan craftsmanship with unique yet soft patinas, curated with care and authenticity.
Thoughtfully layered antique vases, handmade ceramics, and bespoke rustic-wood furnishings made every detail feel intentional and perfectly placed. Custom upholstery and artwork in vivid colors and expressive prints infused the rooms with vibrant energy, harmonizing effortlessly with the surrounding rustic elements.
Outside, juniper and eucalyptus pergolas introduced a playful sense of rhythm through their natural irregularities, casting elegant, ever-changing shadows throughout the day. The completed home is rich in character and warmth, layered with meaningful details, thoughtfully curated pieces, and a deep appreciation for the Mediterranean way of life.
